Hello,
Lately me and my boyfriend have been fooling around and we had alot of pregnancy scares like getting pregnant through dry humping and we learned over time that this is impossible especially with clothes on, but the thing we are worried about now is pregnancy through fingering or touching each other and touching ourselves at the same time. Of course even though we get caught up in the moment, we are still very careful. There was one day when we were doing these things and we washed our hands before we touch each other and im not sure if he washed his hands thoroughly and im really scared because he came a little bit and whiped it off and washed his hands but im still scared. And today im feeling like mini cramps usually signaling me that my period is coming up but im still scared :( please help me???? :(

HI Anon,

You can not get pregnant from masturbation, there has to be unprotected intercourse.

I am really scared. The last time I had my period was on April 13 (first day of menstruation), until today i still do not have my period May 15. The only thing that my boyfriend and i did was rubbed my vagina which led to orgasms. I gave him oral sex afterwards but I really did not touch my vagina right after. My boyfriend masturbated before coming to my place, his place was just 5 mins away from me. He said he washed his hand, but will that be good enough so that i wont be pregnant? We did this on several days April 11, 12, and 17 to be specific. After those days we did not do anything anymore. Pls pls answer me I am so stressed already. I find it hard to sleep and eat. For more info i would also like to share that i normally/always have my period 28-31 days. Today it has been 33 days that i do not have my period or even just a little spotting, nothing. Pls answer me I do not know what to think anymore. :( Thank you in advance. I have learned my lesson and wont let this happen anymore :(

Hi Anon,

Not sure of the exact time a sperm can live outside the body.  What i mean from penetration is intercourse. Yes the penis inserted into the vagina.  In order for the sperm to live and be able to swim up the vaginal walls and into the cevix.  Please take a home pregnancy test if you are that concerned.

what do you mean by long? is 2 hours enough? and when you say penetration does that mean the penis must be inserted to a vagina? or even if fingers are inserted into vagina. pls do reply. thank you.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Sperm won't be able to live outside the body for long.  In order for sperm to live and swim up the cervix of a woman, there has to be penetration.  Please read your previous replies.  It's only been a day, not all cycles will be the same exact day every month.  Wait a few more days, before taking a home pregnancy test.

Best,

Daisy

Can you get pregnant by fingering or rubbbing the vagina when there is sperm/semen on hand. What is the survival rate of sperm or semen? I am not sure whether the sperm on my boyfriends hand was dead already. I guess he rubbed his hand on my vagina about 2 hours after. He said he washed his hands but I am not sure if it is thoroughly enough. Some say that it dies whet it hits the air. Is washing your hands enough? Pls answer back I am really scared. The last time I had my period was on April 13(1st day of period), but up to now(May 14) i still dont have my period. I am already paranod. Please please answer back. Thank you.

Hi Anon,

Like i said before, you cannot get pregnant from fingering or oral sex.   If he masturbated before going over to see you, sperm would had died by then.  In order for sperm to swim up the cervix and live there has to be bodily fluid and penetration.

If you are still concerned, you might want to take a home pregnancy test.

Hi,
I am really scared since my period is already 5 days late, i am not like this. I even get spotting days before my period, but until now there is none :( My boyfriend fingered me, but I am not sure if he still had semen on his hand. I heard and saw from other sites that by this way you can get pregnant since sperm does not die automatically. Is this true? My boyfriend said that he masturbated before visiting me so is there a chance that he still contains sperm on his fingers? I am really scared and nervous I do not want to be pregnant. The farthest thing that I have ever done is being fingered and oral sex. Pls reply asap. I really would like to know if there is a risk of being pregnant. Thank you for your reply in advance. - B

If you dont know the difference between vaginal sex and oral sex then you don't need to engage in either. As the previous post said as well as i'm about to say you cannot get pregnant by fingering or anything other than his penis inside your vagina its that simple.
