i am pregnant 5months, but my doctor discover me i had umbilical hernia because of my last pregnancy last 2008, im asking what happen to me when i giving birth this dec. 4 2009, (expected date) what they do to me. pls answer my situation. thanks and GOD Bless... - Amalia Malapitan, Philippines

Most of the time, they fix the hernia after you deliver the baby. I had a friend that had one and she carried twins with a very small frame which caused the hernia and then after the babies were born the doctors fixed the hernia. She suffered from abdominal pain but nothing that she couldn't handle.
