Hi,
You don't have to justify missing pills---it can happen! Unfortunately, every cycle is its "own" cycle, so even if you have never missed a pill for the previous two years, missing two pills in one cycle can increase your risk for pregnancy.

Missing one pill does not increase your chance of pregnancy when you take it as soon as you remember. Since you missed two pills in-a-row (and I assume you took the second one as soon as you remembered?), then there is an increased chance of pregnancy (the pill is 99% effective at preventing pregnancy, and when you miss pills, it decreases its effectiveness). Your increased risk is most likely low, since you took your first pill the next day.
