I wanted to ask about my period now I was suppose to come on my period on the 26the of November but I started bleeding light on the 20th,so I was thinking I was coming g on early and that never happened but I was bleeding light for a couple of days then on the 4th day it was still light but the blood got a little darker, and then the day my period was suppose to came on it was still doing the same thing to the point I didn't need to wear pads only panty liners then it finally stopped, then like 7days later I started bleeding light again and don't know why so I'm confused now it's December and I still didn't come on my regular period yet and I'm wondering what do that mean

Hi reneehenry30,
If you are experiencing such extreme pain that you usually don't have, I would definitely schedule an appointment with your doctor. The pain may be cramps, but it could also be something else. Schedule an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can since the pain is so severe. I would also discuss your abnormal period with your doctor.

Hi reneehenry30,
Thanks for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community!
Periods can be abnormal for a variety of reasons, and sometimes it can be very confusing. Some common causes of abnormal periods include stress, birth control, medication, travel, illness, excessive weight gain or weight loss, and more exercise than usual. It sounds like you had a very light period or spotting this month. Since you still had light bleeding, it doesn't sound like you are pregnant, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can always take a pregnancy test. However, if you have experienced the above causes I mentioned, those are very likely causes of your abnormal period. Keep track of the time your next period begins to compare to this month and months past.
I hope this helped! Let me know if you have other questions.
Best, Erin
