If my hands are physically dry is there any way there could be live sperm on there still?
Say I got fingered and the finger was dry, but previously had sperm on and just wiped off quickly or not properly with a dry cloth or something...pregnancy??! Extremely worried

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for your questions.

If your hands and fingers are dry, there is nothing-semen-on them right? If you had semen on them, but wiped it away-it is gone. Once semen is dry, sperm is dead. Dead sperm cannot fertilize a released egg-thus no risk for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
