I was wondering what causes cardiac arrest? Can a 70 year old male taking benicar 20 from high blood pressure and Crestor 10 aspirin bayer 81 be in risk for cardiac arrest? If so what are ways to prevent it.

This is a very broad question, in terms of what can cause heart attacks. Anyone can get a heart attack, including people taking heart medication. Aspirin can help reduce the risk but it is not a guarantee. 

High blood pressure, high cholesterol, stress, Long QT Sydrome, blocked valves, poor sleep, genetics and a poor diet/exercise regime can all contribute to heart disease.
