ruptured ovarian cyst while pregnant - no bleeding so where does the waste/blood go?

17 weeks pregnant - age 23. Had an ultrasound. Been on a drip, panodol forte given, sent homje to rest. Still in incredible pain coming in waves. Keeps vomitting bile & any food eaten. Please help. Any suggestions how to ease the pain.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain but it should end soon, although that depends on the person. Since you are pregnant, your immune system may not be as strong as usual and it may take a little longer.

A cyst is made up of liquid and tiny amounts of debris that is absorbed back into the body and is flushed out through the excretory system. 

In terms of pain, a hot water bottle or heating pad may help. Since you are pregnant, you need to be careful about pain medications - talk to your doctor about this. Advil is generally safe in pregnancy (don't take Tylenol - acetaminophen).

Keep resting and I hope you feel a lot better soon.
