Shook hands with someone then changed my tampon, can I get pregnant?

I've never had sex but I'm a week late. I shook hands with a male that I didn't know then I went to bathroom and changed tampon in a hurry forgetting to wash hands. His hand was dry. Is there a chance that could cause pregnancy

I understand that, but I changed my tampon and my fingers touched vaginal opening. I was basically asking if dried sperm (in the event that the man I shook hands with had dried sperm on his hand) can transfer to my hand from a handshake then cause pregnancy by changing tampon. I know it's far fetched, but I still haven't gotten my period.

Hi,

If semen has dried, the sperm is dead. What would make you think he had dried semen on his hands? You are letting your imagination run away with you. Your period is simply late. This can happen on occasion. If you are stressed, that can be a reason why.

Hi, Anon.

Thank you for your post.

You cannot get pregnant by shaking hands with someone.
There is a risk of pregnancy when a woman has unprotected sex with ejaculation inside (or rarely) on the opening of her vagina.
