Me and my boyfriend of 6 months has made a decision to abstain from sex for personal reasons. However we do participate in "dry sex" where there is always a clothing barrier on both our genital area. Sometimes he does ejaculate in his boxers. I was just wondering, should I be on birth control pills? I've been on it for two months now and my skin is absolutely horrible, it's given me awful mood swings and the only benefit is that I never worry about pregnancy even if he comes in his shorts. Should I stay on the pill or is there nothing to be worried about with regards to pregnancy?

Whether or not you take birth control pills, or use any other option, is a decision that only you can make.
Boyfriends come and go, but you will be living with your own body forever. If the side effects from your current prescription are intolerable you can find out about other brands which you may tolerate better. There is nothing to worry about as far as pregnancy goes from having "dry" sex but as you grow older you will most likely have different interests and desires.
