Should I be worried about the Enterovirus or is more likely to affect children?

Thanks for your post and welcome! 

For reasons that remain unknown, the Enterovirus is affected children, not adults. This illness is a serious upper respiratory infection. Children ages 4-12 are most likely to be affected and children with asthma or upper respiratory condition are affected more seriously. 

Preventing enterovirus is as easy as practicing good, old-fashioned hand-washing with soap and water. Disinfecting toys, surfaces, and phones and avoiding people who are ill are also good preventative measures.
