Hi me and my boyfriend just started having sex Friday, we were dry humping he wore a condom then he ejaculated, he changed his condom before we really started having sex . . He did not ejaculate again, we had sex again Sunday night he also wore a condom . . he ejaculated but pulled out even though he wore a condom . I am on the pill but last week I went out bowling Saturday night and didn't get home until Midnight I didn't take my pill Friday so when I got home Saturday at 12 I took both Friday's pill and Saturday's pill, and then later that day which was Sunday I took my pill. So basically I took three pills . . . I was suppose to get my period Monday and today is Tuesday I always get my periods on Monday. I don't know if my period is delayed because of the screw up of my pills .. I am usually on top of them but I wasn't having sex so I kind of messed up with this pack, I just haven't got my period and I don't know if I should start freaking out like I said we used protection .

Hello Annomnomousy,

Losing your virginity will not cause a delay in the start of your period.

Even though you missed taking one birth control pill, you made up for it. Now, since you took three pills on one day, that may have upset the hormone balance enough to cause a delay.

Continue taking the inactive pills, which I am assuming you are taking now. If by the end of the week, you still have not gotten your period, please speak with your gynecologist.

I don't think you were at risk for pregnancy because you had been taking your pills regularly and your boyfriend did use condoms.

Regards,
Maryann
