Q:

Should I tell my boyfriend I bought a vibrator?

So, my boyfriend has been acting cold recently and we haven't had sex in almost 3 weeks, which is unusual (I've tried seducing him, but he's "tired" or "busy" etc). I just made the connection that he's been acting weird since about the time I ordered my first vibrator online. I don't THINK he used my computer since then, but MAYBE. It's nothing personal against him, I just saw the ladies talking about The Rabbit on Sex and the City and became curious. Should I tell him about it? Is it not a good idea to let him know? I'm just worried that he may have found some way, and I should let him know it's nothing personal against him!

i guess it's just fine.. you can ask his idea first.. if he think its ok.. then just tell him that truth.. if he show againt about it. i guess no need tell him and just keep it as secret. can find healthy sex support on the trusted site positivemate. all above is all just my own opinion. hope it helps.

Thanks for your input, Pat. Those are good questions. I'm sure my bf probably watches porn, so I'm trying to think of it in that context. Honestly, I don't think I'd want to know the details of it. We've been dating for 3 years, so we're close and fairly open sexually, but I don't think I'd want to know the details of what he does to pleasure himself, unless of course he wants me to try something out with him.

He has asked me in the past if I had a vibrator (when I didn't) and I said that I didn't. So, now that I think of that, maybe he'd want to know. Or, maybe it's something he asked, but would rather not be aware of. I know he always wants me to be open with him, so maybe I should share that. I guess he may want to know those things more than I do, lol.

Let's look at this another way. If your boyfriend was to take up something that was the equivalent of your vibrator would you expect him to share that with you? Would you be upset if he didn't? Would you be upset if he did?

What you choose to share is based on the type of relationship you have and the level of intimacy you have on a personal level, not just a sexual one. And, of course, on whether you want to share the vibrator with him. :-)
