Q:

Should we be worried about me being pregnant?

My boyfriend is worried that I'm pregnant. I'm on month two of my birth control and this is my first time being on the pill. We used condoms during the first month like my gynecologist told me to. During the first month I missed one pill but I took it as soon as I remembered, which is what the information packet that came with the pills told me to do. This happened two more times during the month, both times I only missed one pill and took the missed pill as soon as I remembered. The second two times were within two hours of my time, and the first time was about four hours after. Am I at risk of getting pregnant because I missed it three times, even though I corrected the problem? I didn't think so, but my boyfriend has been freaking out and now he has me worried.

Anon - Yes, you are at risk each time you miss a pill, even if you make it up right away, and it is important to find a way to stick to your schedule if you plan to remain on the pill.
