Side effect of cod liver oil capsule

I have been taking this pill called cod liver oil capsule for more than 12 year now. And have been wondering in my mind if there is anything that doesnt have side effect. Please I will like to know if this drug has any side effect on the long run.

I started taking it when I learn about the uses and benefit and so fell in love with it and since then. I used Vita Cod Liver Oil, hope is a good product.

Why did you start taking it in the first place? How high is your dosage? What brand do you use? 

Fish oils are great! The EPA & DHA found in fish oils are great for your health, especially for those of us who aren't big fish eaters. WebMD notes its uses for high cholesterol, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, depression, among much else.

 


One thing to be careful of is the purity of your fish oil. Different brands have different quality standards. Depending on where the fish is from, there may be more or less mercury. 


If you're taking other medications, it's always best to check with your doctor.
