Hi Jessica

Since we don't really know what they are, you may want to check with your doctor for a quick exam. Once these pieces are identified properly, your doctor can work with you from there.

Good luck!

Hi Jessica!

Again, since we can't identify what they are exactly, you need an exam. It doesn't sound like anything serious but you may want to book an appointment at your earliest convienience.

Hi jessica

Thanks for your post!

The 'skin' that you felt may have been your hymen -  a layer of skin that sometimes remains until a woman has sex.

Sex the first few times can be a bit painful for some people but they are not as comfortable with their bodies yet and also may not have used or had proper lubricant.

Is the skin still there?
