Hello quadrinity,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question about a small red bump on your clitoris that is painful to the touch. Normally, you should not have a small painful bump there. Seriously consider scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist to have it examined.

In the meantime, it might simply be due to irritation. Would there be anything that came in contact with that area that could have caused an irritation?

Regards,
Maryann

unfortunately no, i cannot think of anything that had contact with that area. except that i just started to use a menstrual cup for the first time, but actually i hadn't use it anymore for a week (my period is over) after the red small bump appear. the small bump is in the hood clitoris.
