ok so last month my period was a week late but then it came on but was heavier than usual.now oct and it is a week late again.i havent had any cramping or any pre period spotting but my face has broken out.I am more emotional than usual crying over petty stuff,im eating more and have gained almost 9 pounds in two weeks,my bra size is 38 d and now my boobs are just waiting to spill out of my bra.lol I have been having alot more headaches and a couple of migraines lately, and more fatigue. When i have to use the bathroom im now running to the bathroom because it feels as if im going to bust and now waking up in the midddle of the night going to the bathroom as well. i havent been on any birth control since 2005.and me and my boyfriend have benn doing the pull out method recently.I havent take a pregnancy test yet kinda still in denial at the fact that i may be.Am i pregnant?

hi my name is chrissy...my period has been late for feb and march, by 11 days for march. My period is normally very heavy, but both times my period was unusually light (like spotting) and only lasted for about 2-3 days. My period normally lasts for about 5-6 days. This had me very worried and confused. I have taken about 4 pregnancy test during that time and they all came back negative. This month i am now 5 days late again with no signs of an upcoming period. What could be the possible explanation for this? should i be concerned?

thanks a lot Cary. I have still yet to see my period and it is now the end of the month. I have been having unprotected sex...my boyfriend and i have never used a condom and he does not pull out either, so every month it is late i am very worried. I am going to a physician on monday to get a physical examination. I have taken another test and it is still negative. I am hoping this is all due to stress and not because of some medical reason. Thanks for the support!

Anon,

I sure hope that the anxiety is all that's going on with you. But can i ask why you are having unprotected sex with no birth control, no condom, no withdrawa? This is the quickest way to get pregnant in the book. Do you need information or help finding birth control? If condoms are not an option for you and your boyfriend, have you considered birth control pills?

You can always go to Planned Parenthood for birth control advice and prescrptions. It is completely confidential and there are Planned Parenthood clinics all over the United States. It's also very low cost. You can go here, put in your zip code and find one near you:

http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Would you consider doing that? Especially since it seems that you don't want to be pregnant.

with my recent pregnany, well now that my son is 10 months old now. anything is possible. i was on the pile and i still got pregnant. don't scare your boyfriend just yet, get a pregnancy test. clear blue or first reponse is the best way to go, i was in denial my self after 12 tests and one professional one lol. then i finally told him, he was at shock at first then grasped the fact that he was going to be a daddy. also see your health care professional. sometimes the pull out method rarely work, condoms are always the best protection. if you have a religion that makes you not have a baby, screw the religion, it's a human being growing inside of you, and trust me, nothing says miracle till you see those little peepers looking right up at you in your arms. so but the test, they range from 10- 20 bucks in shoppers or any drug/departmet store. good luck.
