Hi, I have something called scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and I have TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder). I'm 28 years old and I heard as get close to age 30 it is best to take vtamin D and calcium. Since I have these two conditions do you think it's necessary that I take vitamin D and calcium?

Thank You,
Melissa

Dear Melissa,

Vitamin D and Calcium are two supplements that appear to be harmless. However, the best person to ask if you should be taking any medication, whether over the counter or prescribed, is your doctor because not only does he know your history, conditions, and blood work results but he also knows what medications you are on and what supplements your body can do with or without.

Good luck,

Rosa
