hi im an 18 year old girl who is sexually active. since being pregnant and having an abortion I have gained a very sore red and itchy vagina. I also get tissue like pieces around and inside the hole of my vagina? my boyfriend thinks its just skin but I'm not too sure? could anyone please help me as I'm a little worried now as its been going on for a couple of months now. thanks

Are you having any unusual vaginal discharge? Do the tissue like pieces look like blisters or sores? Are they more like loose flaps of skin?
Persistent vaginal soreness, redness and itching along with lesions is abnormal. I strongly urge you to be examined by your physician. As a sexually active young woman there is a chance that you may have contracted a sexually transmitted disease.
