ask: Spotting 31 Weeks Pregnant?

By AlysMommy

Rate This

I have had more pelvic pain when walking, and since last night I wiped spots of blood on my tissue. I am 31 weeks pregnant. I have a little bit of back pain and braxton hicks have been going on for over a week now ongoing. My cervix is still closed though. My V. itches a little too. The nurse doesn't seem worry about it. They said it was a yeast infection when I called them asking them and called in a prescription. I am worried if there is something actually wrong or not. I had the HELLP syndrome last pregnancy and am just worried. Any advice would be great! Thank you.

I won't. Even though I call them and they just keep telling me everything is normal. Guess I will wait and see. Thank you again.

Please keep us posted. If any of the symptoms, such as spotting, pelvic pain or Braxton Hick contractions, increase between now and Thursday, do not hesitate to give your doctor's office a call.

Best regards,

I called them and they sent over a prescription for yeast infection to pharmacy. I have an obgyn and go Thurs. Thank you for your help. They didn't seem to think it was important enough to get looked at. Guess I will wait until Thursday.

Hi AlysMommy,
Are you under the care of an obstetrician? When is your next scheduled prenatal appointment?
I do not feel qualified to give you suggestion over the internet. I think you need to be examined by your obstetrician.
My concerns are a past history of HELLP syndrome, spotting, a possible yeast infection, pelvic pain with walking and constant Braxton Hicks contractions.
Please give your doctor's office another call.
