I shouldn't have my period for about another week, but I keep spotting and I feel like I should have my period. I had sex two weeks ago, but it was protected.... does this mean I'm pregnant? I'm really worried cause I turn 17 yesterday and my parents will be so mad if I am. What do I do? and How do I know? Is it just because my body is a little out of wack? Or could I seriously be prego?

Hi I had sex for the first time in a while with a new boyfriend and I had light spotting and I have cramps. The spotting only lasted one day and was super light. We used a condom and I'm not on the pill. Is this normal? I'm a little worried :S

yes, thanks i have to stop looking at my situation so bad, my mom told me whatever happens happens...she thinks as well as i that at least im not still in h.s. worrying, i have my own house and a bf of 3+ years. thanks for making me feel less worried sesriously. but yes, im gonna look forward n gonna get my next period and start on my pill!! :)

yes, thank you i was about to start freaking out...im still not on the pill...and i was so confused about my period i have to wait til i get a period to start to take my pills...im just really scared because when we had sex it was unprotected and i dont wanna tell neone i stopped my pill...because i messed up so bad, i talked to my doctor and she said to wait to til i get a period, i'm just really iiritated because i dont know if when we had sex that it was around the time i could get pregnant becausei was only on the pll for 2 weeks

You did the best you could! Don't beat yourself up. You didn't "mess up so bad" -- women have trouble with their birth control pills all the time.
May 12, 2010 - 9:11amBe sure to use a condom between now and the time you get your next period and are able to start your pills. And again, because of the withdrawal bleeding, don't fret about whether you are pregnant. Just count forward from that time to expect your next period. OK?

i have a question...am i suppose to get my regular period or am i not gonna til next month, becausei didnt get it...since i bled from stopping does that me an i had a period or is it withdrawl like you had said...im confused on whether or not i had a period or not????

May 11, 2010 - 9:24amSince you had the withdrawal bleeding from the pills, you should count that as your "period" and count from there to figure out when your period will be next month (though it might not be right on time). Does that make sense?
