so i took nordette as ECP (4 pills for 1st dosage and 4 pills again) 12 hrs after last april 15 , its like 12 hrs after my unprotected "sex" (just rubbing and slight insertion and there was no ejaculation) and then 6 days after the last dosage i got my withdrawal bleeding, and then 2 weeks after the unprotected sex i went to the doctor to get a blood pregnancy test and it came out negative. 3 weeks after the unprotected "sex" i got a home pregnancy test and it came out negative also but in the same day, i had sex with my boyfriend but it was protected, we used condom and we just had sex for like 5 mins, it wasn't even near to climax and he didn't ejaculate at all, we also checked the condom and there were no leaks or damage, but just for precaution i took nordette as ECP again 2-3 hrs after and again, 6 days after i got my withdrawal bleeding. 3 weeks after our protected (so that's 5-6 weeks after our unprotected "sex") we went to the doctor again to get a blood pregnancy test and it came out negative also. And for the month of June i didn't get my period at all, so i got a home pregnancy test on the 21st of june and it came out negative also (that's 5-6 weeks after our protected intercourse and 9-10 weeks after our unprotected "sex"). And now it's been a month or more that i didnt get my period, now i am spotting is this a sign that im going to get my period or implatation bleeding? im so scared right now.

Hi Mike,
Welcome to EmpowHER. If your tests are negative then it's unlikely you will be pregnant. Also, emergency pills should not be used as a method of birth control. Side effects of any emergency pill are bleeding, nausea, cramping and changes to your next period. You need to use another method of birth control such as condoms or birth control pills if you want to avoid a pregnancy. Hope this has helped?

UPDATE: i went to the bathroom a while ago and washed. There was pretty a lot of blood on my pantyliner and even on my underwear and when i wash my vagina, there was a lot of blood clot and the color was brown.black. what does this mean?

Thank you ma'am Daisy, it has been a almost a month since the last time i used nordette as ECP, i missed my period for the month of june and now im having light bleeding right now, and i filled up a panty liner, but the blood is dark brown-black, what does this mean? is my period coming?
