First thing is I have been on Clomid for 5 months (Nov was my last month taking it) I had my period start on Nov 10, 2016 (normal period). I ovulated (use OPK) on Nov 26th. On Dec 2nd -3rd I had light brown/pink spotting. Period was due on Dec 12 and I again started spotting and that continued till Dec 18th. That spotting was never enough to even wear a tampon. I did not OPK this month because I didn't know when to truly say my period was so I didn't know what cycle days I was. Now it is Jan 14, period due any time now and I'm spotting again. Do you think this is due to going off the clomid? My OB wont do the hormone blood tests and wants me to go to a specialist but unfortionatly my insurance through work wont cover that. I don't know what to do. We have been TTC for almost 9 months. I have a 9 year old and was on the Merana for 5 years after her and nothing sence

It could be a side effect. However, I cannot tell you this with certainty. I would ask your doctor about this. If your period does not come, take a home pregnancy test.
