I had unprotected sex then took the emergency pill. A week later while I most likely was ovulating I had unprotected sex twice where he pulled out, he didn't pee or wash himself between the two times. It's been two weeks since then and iv got really unbearable stomach cramps and Sharp pains accompanied with diarrhea and nausea. Im due my period any time now but dont know if taking the pill has changed my cycle. What are the chance of me being pregnant? I want to believe I have food poisoning but can't think of anything that iv eaten to cause it.

Thank you for the reply.

The diarrhea went after one day. My stomach is in severe pain and my period was late and very light. My breasts are also in unusual pain. Could all of the be the side effect of the emergency pill which I took almost a month ago?

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for posting. Sharp pains, Nausea, and diarrhea combined are not symptoms of pregnancy. An emergency contraceptive can cause some stomach troubles as a side effect, however, it is not usually prolonged. If you are still experiencing all of the above symptoms, you may have a stomach bug but this is best diagnosed by your doctor after a physical exam.
