Stomach pain

Hi,

I got severe pain in my stomach and vertically till my lower stomach yesterday early morning. I am expecting my periods and felt it as periods cramp pain but I haven't got periods yet. The pain was so severe that I was not able to lie down or sit or walk, and felt such a stabbing pain for full one hour. After that, it slowly reduced and became ok. The ache of that pain is still remaining. Will you be able to tell me what would have caused the pain? I have got urinary infections a couple of times before but have been drinking lots of water recently. For gastric issues, recently I had got an entire scan of the stomach and uterus and ovaries came out to be fine in the scan.

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and I am sorry that your stomach has been causing you so much pain. Stomach issues can be associated with so many different conditions that seeking a physicians assistance may be the best course of action. Pain in general should always be referred to a doctor. Since your period is pending, this certainly could be cramping but I would follow up with your physician immediately since you are experiencing so much pain. We cannot diagnose you with Empowher but rather provide suggestions.

Keep us posted on what your doctor tells you.

Good luck,

Missie
