Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Even a little bit of vaginal bleeding or spotting is not normal after menopause.

Make an appointment with your mother's physician as soon as possible.

The most common causes of postmenopausal bleeding include:

polyps that develop in the uterus, cervix or inside the cervical canal
thinning of the endometrium, which is the tissue that lines the uterus
thickening of the endometrium

Her doctor will determine the cause by reviewing her medical history, doing a pelvic exam and any necessary blood tests.

Please keep us updated.
Regards,
Maryann
