Hi Anon

Thanks for your post.

By "sleep Sonia", I assume you mean sleep apnea? On the basis that you do, here is some info:

There isn't a correlation that I can find between having a tubal ligation and sleep apnea. It's likely to be a coincidence.

If you think you may have sleep apnea, then you need to talk to your doctor and likely participate in a sleep study to evaluate your sleep and breathing.

You can read all about sleep apnea here: http://www.empowher.com/condition/sleep-apnea

Take a look at the causes/risks and then the symptoms list. Does this seem like this may be the case with you?

With regard to your concern about your thyroid or adrenal glands being the cause - you're correct; they may be.

It's a good idea to get a full hormonal workup too so that you can figure out what's going on. Sleep apnea can be quite serious so investigating this as soon as possible is a good idea as it can really affect the quality of your life and health.

Good luck and thanks for writing!
