Hi, I find this to weird and strange and I'm wondering what could this mean? I'v been having symptoms of having a ovarian cyst and I had abdomen ultrasound in the past and results doesn't show anything says it's normal. I don't have any cyst there. I'm actually having lots of pain beside the left side of my stomach and symptoms of ovarian cyst but since I have no cyst I'm wondering what could this mean? My doctor told me to have a CT done to know what it is. I still find it to weird have such symptoms and no cyst there, please let me know more about this.
Thank You,
Melissa

Hi Melissa6666,
This is something you will need to discuss with your physician. He should know more about the imaging test being performed, according to your symptoms.

Thank you for your reply. I'm having the CT done next week and I'm also going to have a MRI also of the pituitary. CT shows the problem in the abdomen? Even though how I feel from pain and the symptoms I'm experiencing which is something random I experience like for example right now I have no symptoms but I do have some pain beside my stomach, would the CT still show the problem I'm having? They going to give me contrast for both MRI and CT having the contrast twice that day does it cause any harm or problem? Please let me know.
Thank You,

Hi Melissa6666,
Some of the causes of pain in the left side of abdomen can be Bowel Obstruction, Diverticulitis, Kidney Stones and many other. If your doctor suggested a ct scan, then that's what you should have done. It's best to discuss your symptoms with your doctor.
Best,
Daisy
