Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. I did not find any research that suggests Crones Disease causes alcoholism. However, alcohol usually aggravates Crones Disease and therefore, I would assume that if you have Crones Disease, you would want to stop drinking alcohol.

It's Crohn's, not Crones. You will have an easier time researching it if you spell it correctly. But no, there is no link between Crohn's disease and alcoholism.
