Is there any link between menopause and hemifacial spasms?

Thanks for your question and welcome!

To my knowledge, there is no link with menopause itself, but onset often happens when a person is in her mid 40s. However, men are also susceptible around this age too, although the condition is not a common one. The link seems perhaps that we are growing older, rather than menopause.
