Hello Anonymous

Constant sound in your ears is a difficult problem. Have you seen a health care provider? It could be that you have congestion that is affecting your hearing, or tinnitus, which is commonly referred to as ringing in the ears but it is not always a ringing sound.

There are several issues that can cause unwanted ear noise. We have a page on tinnitus: http://www.empowher.com/media/reference/tinnitus and there is an organization dedicated to tinnitus: http://www.ata.org/. However, it may be that you have something medical going on.

The most important thing is to see your provider and get a diagnosis, so you can figure out whether your issue is easily treatable or not.

Please let us know how you do. Good luck.
