My last period was 6/26 and lasted about 4 days? and the month before it was 5/24. I had the mirena birth control taken out in May. Anyways I've been REALLY nauseous all day and I have this tugging like feeling in my uterus area as well as I have been uber sensitive it doesn't take much to make me cry these days? My husband and I had unprotected sex on the 3rd I know for sure. I have 1 other child and got symptoms pretty early... my dr said I was very sensitive haha. anyways, I know I'm way to early to test but I'm just curious if that is what it could be? Thank you!

Congratulations! Make sure you take good care of yourself and your little one from now on. You are her source of food, shelter, and security. I am very happy for you :-)

Oops you know what I said the 3rd and it was supposed to be the 7th and I think I was supposed to ovulate on the 10th.

Dear Whitney,

There is definitely a chance you are pregnant. The time between your last period and the time you had unprotected sex is 7 days, so although most women will ovulate 14 days after (give or take) you may not be one of those women. Your symptoms sure do sound like those of a pregnant woman.

I think for the time being, until you can take a pregnancy test and get accurate results, that you should take precaution with food and medications-- and some prenatal vitamins never hurt (they do wonders for my nails!)
So, if you end up not being pregnant, then you will at least have the prettiest hands in the block.

Take Care :-)
