I would love to know if there are any herbal forms of birth control. I refuse to take hormonal BC, and I'm not particularly thrilled by the copper-IUD.
I know women in indigenous societies have used papaya seeds, neem, or other plant-based botanicals to reduce likelihood of pregnancy. Are any of them actually effective? Or are there any herbal blends in capsules/tea/etc that are effective?
We need better, safer, natural alternatives for birth control. Does complimentary and alternative medicine or traditional medicine of other regions have anything to offer?

Hi World vitae,
Although you will be able to find natural or herbal contraceptives, there aren't large enough studies done to determine the dosage or if in fact these are reliable methods of contraceptives. It would be great to have an FDA approved natural birth control pill-- it will hopefully surface soon.
Best,
Rosa
