in thyroid problem can I conceive.

My tsh level is high in early few month,I m taking throxine since 1 year and it's come on normal,but 2 month ago,I m not taking medice,can I conceive without any problem.can thyroid is repeated?

Hello Anon,

Thank you for posting! High TSH levels can sometimes affect fertility and if left untreated may lead to infertility. Thyroid hormone can block the effect of estrogen at various points in the body. That means the estrogen will not be as effective at getting its job done. This can make the endometrium (uterine lining) unstable and cause abnormal uterine bleeding. 

However, you mentioned being on treatment and now being off of the medication, this means that your thyroid levels are now back to normal and that it is very possible for you to conceive if you start trying.

1 week ago I will go for test & in report my tsh is >100 & prolactin is 245,I m taking thyroxine & cabergoline.what can I do,pls suggest me,did it effect to my fertility
