This is just an odd feeling for me. I have always had sore breast pryor but never to the extent of hard to wear a bra. I am concerned if this is something that i should call my ob/gyn about.

I suggest you see your health care provider. It sounds like you have some kind of irritation or inflammation going on.

Thanks for writing. Please let us know what you find out! It will help others.

Because when I search for answers its always a sign of pregnancy so I thought maybe I include other details. Do you think its a sign of pregnancy? or a sign that my menstruation is approaching? We dry humped on July 3 then had my period on July 14 after that I had no sexual activity until now.

It is a very common part of pre-menstrual syndrome. It probably means you will have your period soon.

Hi there! Me and my boyfriend had a little fooling around and we dry humped. We were like wearing denims and he got wet but i am pretty sure that my denims didnt. I am also wearing a pad coz ive been thinking its much safer with it. We did that on July 3 and I had my period on July 14 so its impossible that I am pregnant. After my period we no longer had any sexual activity until now. I have sore nipples but only when you try to touch them hard like a little pinch, Well I already experienced this kind of thing. Its now August 10, Should I be bothered with this?

I am not sure what your question is. Should you be concerned that your nipples are sore only when you touch them with a hard pinch?

No, a "hard little pinch" on your nipples would cause them to be sore, so this is normal.

Hi Anonymous

This does not necessarily mean you have cancer, but I am wondering if your doctor said you are not pregnant, what did the doctor say about your symptoms? Did they do any tests? Obviously something is going on. What kind of doctor did you see?

If you are comfortable sharing some more detail, maybe we can point you in the right direction for some information and resources.

HI my husband and I have been trying to fall pregnant, we had sex about 2 and half weeks ago which was my peak ovulation time, the day of ovulation was Friday 9th, I started to get breast tenderness around the Monday, my breasts have been itchy and swollen and very very painful. I am not sure if this is maybe a sign of pregnancy, I normally only get sore breasts one week before my period, and my period is only due around the 26th.. I have a 29 - 30 day cycle. Please tell me what you think

Anon,

Like the above poster, your post got a little lost in the thread and I only just found it.

Breast tenderness around the time you mentioned would usually not be a sign of pregnancy. Even if your peak ovulation time was correct and you did conceive that Friday, it is doubtful that the embryo even would have implanted by that Monday. However, every woman is different, especially with symptoms surrounding her cycle and pregnancy.

I'm answering this on the 26th, so I am thinking you probably know something one way or the other by now. How are the symptoms, and how are you doing?

Hi!
I am on birth control but last month I missed several days. Recently my breast are tender to the touch, enlarged, and occassionally have a tingling sensation. This occurs in both breasts. I am not scheduled to have my monthly cycle for another 10 days or so and very rarely have signs of PMS, especially breast tenderness. I just experience the occassional cramping. My question is, could this be an early symptom of pregnancy? I took a pregnancy test on Friday but it was negative. Can your body show signs of pregnancy before a urine pregnancy test would result as positive?
