Toe fractures

Two days ago, I again bumped the toes on my right foot! Second time in two months, and about 17 years ago. Recently, I injured two toes on my left foot and buddy taped them for 3 - 4 weeks. Too much of this lately. I am looking for something that might provide protection from all the toes that can be used in flip flops or just barefoot when in the house. I don't like to wear shoes in the house. Any ideas? Haven't gone to the doctor because i have been told that nothing will be done.

First, I'm sorry to hear about your toe problems. They can be very painful! I live in Arizona so I can completely relate to your desire to not wear shoes, especially around the house. On the other hand, I've stubbed my toes more than once, and each time it's reminded me that exposing my toes makes them vulnerable.

You might look for some toe covers in the hosiery section of a department store. They would give a little bit of protection. Otherwise I don't have any good ideas, but perhaps some of our other members can chime in with suggestions.

I also want to suggest a couple of articles from the EmpowHer site that may be helpful to you:

Good luck, and thanks for being a part of EmpowHer.
