top lip will begin to itch, sting, {redness} hurt the swell. Feels like ants are biting me.

The above can complete this cycle within 24 hours. There is no reason that I can detect for the above. Had this for about 30 years, doctors do not have answer, been checked for EVERYTHING they can think of.

Sometimes the heat or cold can cause our lips to swell and feel like they're burning-- perhaps this could be why your doctor can't seem to find a diagnosis for you?

You may also want to take note of what foods you eat when this happens to your lips. If you notice that it happens only after you eat certain foods, keep a log and you may be able to narrow it down. Another option is to see an immunologist who can test you for all types of allergies.

Lastly, you may be a bit deficient in Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin). Try taking a supplement and let us know if you see improvement.
