Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Ovulation usually occurs around 14-20 days after you START your period although every woman in different. Your local grocery and pharmacy stores do carry ovulation tests and this will be extremely helpful. You will usually notice a mucas when you are ovulating (looks like white discharge). This is very common. Sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days so this is the best window of opportunity to become pregnant. It is common for couples to try for at least a year to become pregnant so take your time and enjoy this time.

I hope this helps, can you keep us posted?

Thanks,
Missie

ovulation can be very tricky. by the looks of things you have a 27 day cycle so based on that you should ovulate on about the 10th of oct. though coming off conception can stir your menstrual cycle a bit. last month you may of had a 27 day cycle tin this month you may have a 29 day cycle. the average awake is 28 days. so expect to ovulate between the 8th and 12th day of oct. there is other ways to pin point ovulation. 1 way is to buy urine ovulation strips they work similar to pregnancy tests they come with instructions normally can pick them up at any chemist or health care organisation. 2 is based on your temperature there is kits you can buy. 3 is used with your saliva bit costy over the counter au your local chemist or health place. they work by every morning before drink or food by licking a lens part and looking through the eye piece sort of like a mini science microscope and you will see saliva particles there is a guide on what those particles look like while ovulation occurs. I hope I have helped you all the best ttc :-)
