Tubes are tied but having severe abdominal pain

hello i am 24 years old and had my tubes tied back in June 2014 after having my daughter periods have always came on the same day each month since but here recently i have been going a couple months at a time without one. Now i am concerned something is wrong because i am having a lot of lower back pain and sever abdominal cramps. and i am debating on going to the hospital, but have no idea why i would be doing this any information is greatly appreciated, thanks all

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

When in doubt go get checked out.  If a tubal ligation fails you could become pregnant in which case you are at risk of having an ectopic pregnancy.  

At the very least you will rule it out and then determine what is causing your symptoms.

I went to The Er And had urine sample blood work and a CT scan, pregnancy test came back negative and the Nurse Practitioner couldnt even tell me what was causing my pain said it may be scar tissue forming but i stated to her that it isnt supposed to be painful. and she sent me home told me if it got worse to come back.idk what is going on
