Hello and thank you in advance to all who try to help =)

I had my tubes tied after my last pregnancy (17 months ago) and since then I have not paid much attention to what day of the month my period starts. I do know I had my period in February (my guess is I started on the 14th or 21st - it was a Sat. and towards the later part of the month) and it's now going on April and I have not had a period. I know it's very unlikely that I could get pregnant after having my tubes tied BUT I conceived my three boys extremely easily. I'm just a fertile mertile ;) So, I do not doubt my bodies ability to get pregnant. I did take a pregnancy test last thursday (March 26) and it was negative. I don't currently have health insurance, if I did I would just make an appt to see my Doctor. What are your thoughts? Think I could be pregnant? FYI my periods are never late. If anything they come early and they last abour 7-8 days (ugh!!).

Thanks!!
~ K

P.S. If I were indeed pregnant would I get a positive pregnancy test if it was an ectopic pregnancy?

I am in the same situation right now. My period is late (it never comes late if anything it comes early). I have been nauseous and feeling weird. I get a headache regularly and I have some intermittent abdominal pain. I had my tubes tied 16 months ago. My sister also had her tubes tied and after 2 years she became pregnant but miscarried the baby. I just don't know what to do. Any advice.

thank you,but I don't have insurance an if I went I'm sure they would want to do lots of tests that cost lots of money. And to me a bunch of doctors messed up with my daughter not one more than one so doctors to me are somethings I don't wanna say on here.I just don't wanna go to one an have them say I don't know lets do a bunch of tests!I can't afford it!

There are low cost clinics in nearly every county in the U.S. and Planned Parenthood does health care on a sliding scale as well. The symptoms you are having can be no huge deal or a sign of a serious problem. You asked for advice, my advice is to get checked out. We are not going to be able to tell you anything else. We cannot diagnose what is going on, and if you have something serious, hospitalization or losing your life will be much worse than worrying about the cost of testing.

If you aren't willing to get care for yourself, do it for your kids. That's my advice to you. I wish you all the luck in the world.
