Hello and thank you in advance to all who try to help =)

I had my tubes tied after my last pregnancy (17 months ago) and since then I have not paid much attention to what day of the month my period starts. I do know I had my period in February (my guess is I started on the 14th or 21st - it was a Sat. and towards the later part of the month) and it's now going on April and I have not had a period. I know it's very unlikely that I could get pregnant after having my tubes tied BUT I conceived my three boys extremely easily. I'm just a fertile mertile ;) So, I do not doubt my bodies ability to get pregnant. I did take a pregnancy test last thursday (March 26) and it was negative. I don't currently have health insurance, if I did I would just make an appt to see my Doctor. What are your thoughts? Think I could be pregnant? FYI my periods are never late. If anything they come early and they last abour 7-8 days (ugh!!).

Thanks!!
~ K

P.S. If I were indeed pregnant would I get a positive pregnancy test if it was an ectopic pregnancy?

Hi. I have my tubes tied and had a ablation, which did not work. It was done several years ago. I have not had a period in over 2 months. Negative pee and blood test.
My symptoms :
Of course, no period
bloating
some naseua
abdominal and back pain (each day for the past week it starts hurting a little more)
Pooping more than usual but, not diarrhea
more acne

I am not sure what is going on. I have no insurance so I went to the hospital. I told them I didn't suspect pregnancy. However, they did a test told me I wasnt. Also, sent me out sstating this is a er and it's for emergencies only.

Hi all, 40 years old 3 kids had my tubes tied 14 years ago. I've always had a regular cycle, as of today I am 20 days late! Negatives pregnancy test/ ultrasound. Current systems: cramping like my period associated w/back pain. I also notice hair growth on my belly. Light nausea this morning but enough to keep me from going back to bed. Sleepless nights, I can't find a comfortable position. Feeling lost in confused .....

Hello Anonymous,

Have you seen your physician about these symptoms? I am guessing you must have if you had an ultrasound. What does your doctor think?

Is it the back pain that is causing you to have sleepless nights? Has a gastrointestinal work-up been suggested? Has your physician suggested early perimenopause as a possibility?

I am not sure if I am pregnant I just took a home pregnancy test came back negative but I still missed my period and I am wondering if I should go in and get it get a blood test or if I should wait three more days to take the other home pregnancy test for the simple fact that I know the pregnancy hormone is more parent in the morning time than it is throughout the rest of the day I'm concerned because I have had my tubes tied and burned and yes I know it's possible to get pregnant with that happening but still I don't know what I should do I have all the symptoms and lactating I am moody I am sleeping a lot I have lower back pain and lower abdomen pain I'm not sure what I should do please any help

Guide (reply to Mouseie83)

Hello Mouseie83,

For the most accurate result, you need to take a home pregnancy test in the morning using the first urine of the day. The hCG levels are not higher in the morning. Your urine is more concentrated because it has been in your bladder while you slept.

You only lactate when you are breastfeeding.

Mouseie83, if you are having breast discharge, have missed a period and have lower back and abdominal pain, you need to be seen by your doctor.

Maryann

Guide (reply to Mouseie83)

Hello Mouseie83,

Please call your doctor's office today and schedule an appointment.
Green breast discharge is abnormal and can indicate an infection.
Lower back and abdominal pain along with heavy vaginal bleeding cannot be ignored.

Maryann
