Q:

Two months of no sex but no period, could I be pregnant

The last time I had sex was January 15th. I had a period in February and it lasted 4 days and it was a normal flow. But now in March I'm almost 2weeks late and very very moody and every now and then I feel nauseous. Is it possible for me to be pregnant?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Pregnancy is not likely if you had a normal period in February and have not had intercourse since then.

A hormonal imbalance may be the reason. How old are you? An irregular menstrual cycle is one of the first signs of perimenopause and is caused by fluctuations in estrogen levels.

Hi Anonymous,

Definitely not perimenopausal. Have you ever missed a month before?
When was your last gynecologic examination?

Hello Anonymous,

For now, wait and watch. The very light pink and light brown blood may pick up and you will have a normal menstrual flow.

If this doesn't happen, I suggest you contact your gynecologist or primary care physician for further advice.

Regards,
Maryann
