So I am 28 years old and have been getting headaches for years now. Its an all most every day. And for the last 5 years I seem to be having extreme muscle pain. Its getting to the point where it's impossible for me to stand for 30 minutes. I have been trying to get any doctor to understand that it's getting worse. I am worried that if the don't do something soon I will lose the ability to do anything. I want to know if anyone else has these problems. And what could be going on. Thank you.

Thank you. The headaches started at 16 years old. They have been getting a lot worse over the last 4 years. I have had glasses Since the age of 4 years old. They did do a skull xray and a ct scan. Not that long ago. The muscle pain is in the legs a lot and in the arms. My joints seem to hurt my elbows. I have not been tested for either one of those. I did get a appointment with a neurologist march 5th. I really hope to get better I would like to do things and have fun and not hurt all the time.

Hello Anonymous,

I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering with daily headaches and extreme muscle pain that limits how long you can stand. And at such a young age.

When was the onset of the headaches? Have you had a complete eye exam? Do you wear corrective lens? Have you had an MRI of the brain?

Were do you have the muscle pain? Have you ever been worked up for an autoimmune disorder or fibromyalgia?

These are not symptoms you would normally see in a 28 year old and I think you need to find a doctor who can diagnose the cause. It might be time to consult a neurologist and rheumatologist.

Regards,
Maryann
