So...I probs shouldn't have done this, but I decided to pleasure myself and used my fingers...I've done this before and I've been fingered, but this time I noticed red blood when I was done and it freaked me out. I guess I was a bit rough and went in deep. Is this a cause for concern?

I'm guessing I must've scraped myself, but I'm on the pill and my period comes like clockwork now, its not due until next week. Thank you! I had no idea what was going on, and feel much better now. :)

Hi tee-mik,
While there's nothing wrong with pleasuring yourself, you should be careful not to harm yourself and always do so with clean hands. If you saw blood, then either your period is on its way or you have scraped your vaginal wall with your nail. If you hurt yourself with your nail, don't masturbate again until it has healed in order to prevent an infection. You also may want to visit your doctor if you start to experience pain because that may be a sign that the lesion inside is infected.
