If you don't have your tubes tied and want to avoid getting pregnant. You might want to try other birth control methods, such as the pill, IUD or many other. You might want to discuss it with your OBGYN about the different options, depending on your medical history.

Hi daisydaize,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Anytime you have unprotected sex and especially during your fertile days, pregnancy is possible.  If you took the postinor pill as directed, then you might have a lower chance of conceiving.  You might need to wait and take a home pregnancy test to know if you are pregnant. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
