Hi,
I'm sorry about your stressful situation right now.

We can not begin to speculate or guess who the father may be, and I feel this would be inappropriate for us to do so.

If you want to talk about dates, since your period began on June 1st and if you were expecting your next period to begin sometime around June 24th (+/- a few days), then the most likely time you were most fertile was around June 11-17. Please know this does not mean you were not fertile at other times. These are big "if's", as I'm not sure how long your cycles usually are (and, even if they are typically 28-days, a cycle can change one month). You may have forgotten another sexual encounter. You may have ovulated at another time. There are many other unknown factors that is difficult to pinpoint, unfortunately.

When did you find out you were pregnant?

What options are you looking at?

Please take care,
Alison

Hi thank you for your reply back to me

I was expecting my next period around 4th till the 6th of july, however i did not have it and found out i was pregnant when i took the test on the 12th July. Could it be the person from the 1st July as that would mean i wasnt even 2 weeks yet

Thank you very much x

The way that doctors know how far along a pregnancy is, is by using the LMP (date of last menstrual period), as that is the only known factor. It is unclear when most women ovulate, when fertilization occurred and when implantation occurred.

When you have sex, fertilization may occur that day if you have ovulated, but the sperm can also be waiting at the opening of the cervix for a few days until the egg is released. So, fertilization can happen a few days after sex. Implantation of the fertilized egg then takes another 7-10 days, as it takes the fertilized egg time to travel from fallopian tubes to implant in uterus.

It is unlikely that you were ovulating on/around the date of July 1st, if you were expecting your period 4 days later. This is assuming you have a very consistent cycle every month.

Does that help?
