Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for help .

Did your physician offer any possible causes of your upper right sided abdominal pain?
Where is the swelling?

Looking at the prescribed medications, Nexpro RD 40 is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD. Chymoral is an enzyme that has anti-inflammatory effects and is used to reduce swelling. It accelerates the treatment of inflammatory processes such as upper respiratory infections.

The organs located in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen include the liver, right kidney, gallbladder, colon, and pancreas.

Anonymous, since the pain persists, consider getting the opinion of a second physician, particularly a gastroenterologist.

Regards,
Maryann
