No, a urine test will not show that you have had intercourse or are taking birth control pills.
A urine test or urinalysis involves examining the appearance, concentration and content of urine. Generally, the presence of white blood cells, glucose and protein are detected in a urine sample.
This test is done as part of a routine physical exam, pregnancy check up or to screen for a variety of disorders, such as diabetes, kidney disease and liver disease.
