I had a vaginal hernia repair done and my bladder tacked in Feb2011l I have been bleeding . For 7 months. I have had a complete urinary work up the blood is not coming from my bladder or kidney. My gyn says that the bleeding is not from the vagina. I am not sure what to do now. I have to wear a pad all the time because of the bleeding .

If you have been bleeding for 7 months after your repair, the source of the bleeding should be identified. I would strongly urge you to get a second opinion about where the blood is coming from. I am always surprised when Doctor's just disregard ongoing bleeding because they can't find the source-- this can be dangerous to your health and you certainly deserve an answer. Please consider getting a second opinion from another doctor and keep us updated.
