Was I pregnant? I am 36 have had two children already and run a preiod cycle of every 27 to 28 days. I'm healhty as far as I know. But in June I got my preiod four days early and it only last three days. I think it was June 7th. Then on June 29th i got my period again and it was unusual. It stopped a day picke d up and had a lot clear with it. It ran a typical 7 days for me. I think back and I was having vivd dreams, and had breast tenderness. But after that period I seem to lose those that. (when i was pregnant with my children I had very vivid dreams) (my husband even joked are you pregnant because of my weird dreams.

Bad cramping would be nothing unusual for me ever since I had my first child so I would Have overlooked that symptom.

Well it's August 12 and I still haven't gotten my period again.
Was I pregnant possibly and miscarried?
If I did miscarry how long does it take for you to get another period?
Also I am O negative and my husband is AB positive this happend weeks ago what can be done now?

I just don't feel any of those symptoms I normally feel when i am pregnant?
Any insight would be helpful.
Thanks

Women can have cycles that are between 21-35 days long. Your period on June 7th, then another period on June 29th, means that your cycle was 22 days long. That is within the normal range; not indicative of a miscarriage.

The reason for your current missed period...if you are trying to conceive (as Christine asked)...then you have a higher chance of being pregnant. Are you using any birth control methods and/or having frequent unprotected sex?

Now, it is August 12th, and you still do not have a period after 45 days (since your last menstrual period). You can wait another week to see if your period begins; you can always take a home pregnancy test if you are wondering if you are pregnant or not.

Does that help?

Hi lah4,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Are you and your husband trying for #3?
Your doctor would be the best resource for figuring out if you are having irregular cycles, or a pregnancy/miscarriage situation. From what I've read online, it can take four to six weeks to get your period again following a miscarriage. It's different for everyone. Here is information from the Mayo Clinic on the topic:

It is important to note that it is possible to get pregnant that cycle following a miscarriage. Good luck and let us know how you're doing.

No we aren't trying and are pretty careful, but accidents do happen.
